Studio Maternity Session | Spring Hill, TN

Capturing maternity portraits is one of my greatest joys as a photographer. This lovely mama was absolutely glowing as we documented her first pregnancy journey in a studio maternity session. Unfortunately her husband, a busy firefighter, was unable to join us. But her sister came along to help make sure we got lots of beautiful shots to surprise him with later!

Utilizing my friend’s studio space allowed us to beat the Tennessee heat and focus completely on celebrating the beauty of the pregnant body. The miracle of growing a child deserves to be praised, now more than ever. As a mother myself, I have so much appreciation for all our bodies can do. A studio maternity setting provides wonderful opportunities to get creative with flattering lighting, fabrics, and set design.

We took advantage of the simple. yet tasteful, outfits that Mama brought. Her bodysuit and denim were perfect to complement her growing bump. She looked so radiant! Her sister was such a big help adjusting her outfits to be just right between shots.

I strive to craft empowering maternity photos that radiate positivity and honor my clients’ changing figures. Pregnancy is such a fleeting and profound season. Being able to provide gorgeous studio maternity images for families to cherish is a privilege I don’t take lightly.
