Sleepy Snuggles + Sister Giggles

The rain fell softly the afternoon I met this sweet family at home. It was the kind of day made for living slowly, warm coffee, and staying close. And honestly, it couldn’t have been a better backdrop for a newborn session.

They had just welcomed their second baby girl—tiny, sleepy, swaddled up and already so loved. Big sister was all in, leaning close and whispering little things only sisters know. There were lots of laughs, lots of quiet, and that lovely kind of closeness that fills up a room without trying too hard.

This is why I love in-home sessions, especially for newborns. You don’t need a fancy setup or perfect weather. You just need your people, a little window light, and space to be yourselves.
